Steve has over 20 years of experience with technology innovation and commercialization. He has worked at technology companies ranging from start-ups to multi-national, multi-billion dollar organizations. Prior to co-founding Inovo, Steve held management, engineering, and research positions at Motorola, Electro Scientific Industries, NASA (in Moffett Field, California), and Synthetic Vision Systems (now part of GSI Lumonics). In 1998 he also co-founded Cognitive Bionics Inc. with the mission to help companies tackle the challenge of launching new ventures based on innovative technology.

He holds a BSE in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign; and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
