There are more books dealing with innovation, strategy, creativity, leadership, and business than you have time to read. Executive book summaries are available but they do just that: they summarize. What's needed is an analysis - that is, insight into what you should read, what you shouldn't, and when a summary (of even the title alone!) is enlightening enough.
In this section, we review the books an innovator might be attracted to. Not all are worth reading, but certainly all the summaries are. Some books are a mixed bag - intermingling the worthwhile with the wasteful. We point out each in turn, steering you to what can really make a difference.
You will notice that we have a skeptical, contrarian bias in our reviews - we are hard to please. A few 'gems' have been discovered however and we share these with you.
These reviews take the following format:
- Identification: Title, Author, Publisher, Date, Amazon link, etc.
- Summary of the book's essence with interesting quotes, key points, new ideas, etc.
- Our rating and opinion
- Lists of what to 'Read as Well' and 'Read Instead'
- The book's 'footprint': Time to Read, Thought Level, Content Density, etc.
- Other relevant links
We hope you enjoy.
